Peter Richards MW described Chalkdown cider as "..beautifully graceful and fine, almost balletic in its lightness and harmony. It's elegantly dry." In June 2017, and again in 2018, Chalkdown Cider was awarded the prestigious International Cider Challenge Trophy for best bottle fermented/­bottle conditioned cider. Chalkdown cider makes an excellent alternative to Champagne or Prosecco. It's best served chilled in a flute glass.
