Set across the streets of Yorkshire’s Food Capital, Malton Food Lovers Festival is a celebration of Yorkshire's finest produce and cooking.
The 2019 festival is our 11th and set to be the best yet. Expect heaving stalls, delicious street food, talks, tastings, celebrity chefs, demos and much, much more!
A family foodie extravaganza. We're not known as Yorkshire's Foodie Glastonbury for nothing!

THIS EVENT HAS AN OPTION TO PAY A DEPOSIT OF 50% ON APPLICATION. PLEASE ENSURE YOU TICK THE DEPOSIT OPTION AT CHECK OUT, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE FULL AMOUNT ONCE APPROVED.
We offer two types of pitches for market traders - Premium and Standard.
- Premium pitches are located in the core festival area
- Standard outdoor pitches are located on the edge of the festival area
- Standard indoor pitches are within the Milton Rooms
We offer a further option for outdoor pitches whereby you can either book one of our 3m x 3m gazebos or you can book an open space for your own branded gazebo, trailer, etc.
Alcohol vendors (off-sales)
Alcohol vendors have two off-sales choices:
- Premium pitches are outdoors in 'Taverner's Yard'
- Standard pitches are indoors within the Milton Rooms
Alcohol sales are covered by our own license so there is no need for you to apply for a TENS. You will need your own personal license and you will have to comply with our Challenge 25 policy.

Our definition of Streetfood is any food or drink that is sold with the intention of being consumed immediately.
We operate a commission scheme with our streetfood partners whereby we receive 25% of your takings. When you apply for a streetfood pitch you will be presented with a DEPOSIT invoice determined by the pitch size you book. At the end of each trading period you are required to give us your trading figures (preferably a Z report from your till) we will then calculate your 25% commission and reduce the total by the deposit you have paid. If the sum total is more than your deposit then we will send you an additional invoice. if your sum total is lower than your deposit there will be no further payment due. The deposit is effectively the minimum you will pay for your pitch, no refunds will be issued.
To reduce landfill, we require all our streetfood traders to serve using recyclable and decomposable products
All trade stands will be on hard standing.

What happens next?
Your application will be assessed by the Visit Malton Team.
If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email via Event Owl.
Your deposit will be processed once your application has been approved. The balance due date is 31st March 2019. This will be automatically taken from the card presented at the time of booking. Further details will be on the email sent to you by Event Owl.
Failure to pay the invoice by the due date could result in your pitch allocation being released.
Only those approved will have their payment cards charged. You need to make sure that the details on this form are correct. You will not be able to make any changes to this form once it has been submitted.
