This one day event seeks to demonstrate all that is countryside, whilst entertaining and educating the public about how our daily lives rely on the farming community and its support organisations, to grow and rear our food, whilst looking after the beautiful British countryside we all enjoy.

Centre Vale Park is within walking distance of Todmorden Town Centre, a town famous for its food connections and is the birthplace of the world renown Incredible Edible project.  The park has hosted many shows and other events in the past from agricultural shows to smaller community events.

This show attracts visitors from Caldervale Valley, Rochdale, Oldham, Burnley and beyond, with marketing to include a strong social media campaign, flyers, newsletters, and posters being erected all over the area.

All trading pitches are on grass, so too is parking.  A deposit option is available. A Bursary is available for Calderdale based new start up businesses wishing to trade for the first time.  All businesses must provide a Risk Assessment and Public Liability insurance to be able to apply.

Exhibitors being sought are: country pursuit organisations, food, drink, artisan crafts, country crafts, support organisations, unique street foods and concessions, those who can entertain and educate with demonstrations and displays, sponsors large and small who might benefit from this new footfall.

Food and Catering Traders will be required to complete a further section for local council purposes.

Saturday, 29 June 2019

  • 7:00 am – 9:00 am
    Event Day - Exhibitor Set up
    All trader vehicles (unless otherwise agreed for storage or part of exhibit) must be moved to the car park before we open to the public.
  • 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
    Event Trading Hours
    No vehicle movement allowed, except for organising team vehicles during this time.
  • 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
    Break Down of Event
    No trader vehicles will be allowed on to site/or be allowed to move, until the general public have dispersed. The guide time of 6pm will be in force unless otherwise directed by our health and safety team.

We are now closed for applications. In the event a trader pulls out, you are welcome to use the comments box below to message us and we can add you to our waiting list. However this is not an application or an approval to trade.

PLEASE READ BELOW, BEFORE BOOKING OR MAKING A PHONE CALL TO US:

Catering and food traders - you will be required to complete a further section on your stands food hygiene.  We require a minimum of 4* rating.  ­Caterers - if you are a member of NCASS you can email your profile to info@­eventowl.­co.­uk who will convert your other required documents into your profile. 

Bonafide Charity stands should speak in the first instance to the organiser ­before booking a stand.

ALL traders will require Public Liability insurance and a Risk Assessment (see our template in the Footer under Downloads) in order to apply.  Think about the 'what if's' - gazebo's, falling tables etc

Saturday exhibitor tickets will be allocated as thus:

2 tickets per 9m squared

3 tickets per 9.1m squared to 36m squared

5 tickets per 36.1m squared and upwards - negotiable pending size of stand

Vehicle entrance and parking displays

1 per trade stand up to 9m squared unless otherwise email negotiated

2 per trade stand up to 36m squared unless otherwise email negotiated

3 per trade stand 36.1m+ unless otherwise email negotiated

Ensure your telephone number, name of trade stand is displayed on your vehicle dashboard in case of emergencies.


SALES RECEIPTS - ONCE A BOOKING HAS BEEN APPROVED BY EMAIL VIA EVENT OWL ON OUR BEHALF, WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE EXHIBITOR TAB AREA, UNDER 'YOUR PURCHASES AND APPLICATIONS'
