Event Overview:

There is a small parking charge for visitors attending the event.

The Tour of Cambridgeshire is a weekend festival of closed-road cycling events. This event has been going for over 6 years and having steadily grown over the past years, the 2019 Tour of Cambridgeshire welcomed close to 8’000 participants plus thousands of additional supporters. 2021 promises to bring road races, Gran Fondo, Sportives, Time Trials, Team Time Trials, family rides, camping, party and much more!

The organisers are now looking to take the event to the next level, aiming to create a weekend festival not only for cyclists but families and other outdoor enthusiasts from the wider region. The Tour of Cambridgeshire 2021 will feature cycling events, an expo with some of the biggest brands in cycling (Canyon, Rapha, HIGH5, MucOff and POC), weekend glamping packages, a food festival, entertainment, live music, activities for children and families coordinated by the Youth Dreams Project and much more!

The event offers routes perfect for every cyclist, providing the opportunity to enjoy a closed-road, safe from traffic, UCI sanctioned, professional racing experience. The Tour of Cambridgeshire is the UK’s only official qualifying event for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships and attracts participants from across the globe to the East of England Showground in Peterborough.

The event is owned and organised by Golazo Cycling a subsidiary of Golazo Sports, one of Europe’s leading sports marketing and events management agencies. Having steadily grown over the past years, the Tour of Cambridgeshire welcomed close to 8’000 participants plus thousands of additional supporters in 2019.

Opening times for exhibitors:

Saturday:  9am - 6pm

Sunday:  9am - 6pm

Extra Catering opportunities:

Glamping:  There is a glamping area across the road from the festival.  If caterers are interested in getting involved in serving the glamping visitors early morning and late evening, please tick the box on the application form.  There will be a small fee for this.  Serving times would include Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening, Sunday morning and evening (9.30pm latest for evenings)

Expo exhibitors:  If caterers would like to offer 'meal deals' to exhibitors, please register your interest on the application form.

2.  Risk Assessment

3.  Fire Risk Assessment (forms attached)

4.  Gas safety certificates

5.  Environmental Health rating (FSA or equivalent)

6.  Gas pressure test certificates (Coffee providers only)

Due to events not having taken place and exhibitors struggling to meet deposit demands, we will only take deposits from 15/7/2021 onwards.  This means that we will not accept your application immediately, but we will write to you, accepting your application and then on the 15/7/2021 we will press the button to take deposits.  We hope this is of help to exhibitors.

All spaces are pitches and DO NOT include a marquee.  If you require a marquee, please contact us directly and we will provide a quote for you.

Streetfood Pitches (Min 4* Food Hygiene Rating required - 5* preferred)

Our definition of Streetfood is any food or drink that is sold to be consumed immediately.

To reduce landfill, we require all our streetfood traders to serve using reusable, recyclable or decomposable products   

Artisan­/Craft Pitches

These subsidised pitches are for artisan­/craft where products are 100% made by hand.

You need to register with Event Owl to store your details and process your application - there is not a paper application form.

Generators are not permitted. If you require electricity please add this to your booking form.

All rubbish must be taken away with you. It is not permitted for you to dispose of your rubbish in any of the public bins. If we find you doing this we will invoice you for the disposal of your rubbish (minimum £100 + VAT).

What happens next?

Your application will be assessed by the Food Festival Team and you will receive an automatic email from Event Owl to confirm your application has been received. If you do not receive your email please check your spam filter.

Your deposit will be processed once your application has been approved. The balance due date is  21st August 2021.  This will be automatically taken from the card presented at the time of booking. Further details will be on the email sent to you by Event Owl.

If your application is approved, you will receive a further confirmation email via Event Owl.  Failure to pay the invoice by the due date could result in your pitch allocation being released.

Only those approved will have their payment cards charged.  You need to make sure that the details on this form are correct. You will not be able to make any changes to this form once it has been submitted.

If your application is declined you will receive a confirmation of this via Event Owl.

Your joining instructions will be sent out to you a few days before the event. (If you have not received this information by Wednesday 8th September  2021 then please check your spam filter then get in touch with Food Festivals Ltd).
