  • Spring Fair
York Spring Fair & Food Festival returns to the Knavesmire for its second year this May, bringing together one of the largest vintage funfairs seen in North Yorkshire, and a Food Festival which will showcase a range of artisan products - from food and drink to gifts, scented candles and dog food - from Yorkshire and beyond.  
 
This year promises to be BIGGER and BETTER with more rides and stalls as well as a stage hosting family entertainment during the day and live music or a DJ during the evenings!* Plus it looks set to be THE place to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in the city, with 10 days of fun planned including the lighting of York’s Jubilee Beacon. 
 
There will be plenty of tables and benches outdoors and undercover from which to enjoy the range of delicious foods, and take in all the fun of the fair! 
 
York Spring Fair & Food Festival runs from Friday 27th May through school half term week and the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, finishing on Sunday 5th June.  
 
Open from 10.00am daily at the Clocktower Enclosure, York Racecourse. 
Closes 9pm Fridays and Saturdays, 7pm Sundays and Monday to Wednesday, 10.30pm on Thursday 2nd June.

Artisan Food and Drink Producers are welcome to apply.  Ten-day event.

STREET FOODS, DRINKS AND CONCESSIONS FOR IMMEDIATE CONSUMPTION HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONTRACTED AND WE DO NOT REQUIRE FURTHER INQUIRIES OF THIS NATURE THANK YOU.

The event is open for ten days and this will be the required number of days traders will need to book. If there are still pitches available in the latter planning stages and you wish to take one, please contact us using the contact form (pink button) below, however, we cannot guarantee availability.

Approved Traders will need to apply for a TENS Licence (York Council) if they wish to sell alcohol for off-site consumption only.  This ideally should be undertaken no less than 14 days prior to the start of the event.

Our ethical campaign and in adherence with York Council for recycling on-site shall be adhered to by all Traders. Recyclable/­biodegradable bags, food containers, cups, glassware, cutlery ONLY.

Designated Trader parking will be located near to but not adjacent to Trader stands with security.

We shall email successful applicants with our set up administration instructions nearer to the event.
