Flavours Of Yorkshire - A Food Lover's Festival
About event
Flavours Of Yorkshire is a new event brought to you by the team responsible for the development and award winning success of the former Food Lovers Festival that ran in Malton from 2015 to 2025.
Taking place at Galtres Park (previously known as Pickering Showground), this event is just 7 miles from Malton town centre on the A169 (Malton Road) near Pickering..
In it's previous location, this event attracted an average 42,000 visitors but suffered from a lack of parking, difficult shared access to the town centre and fairly uneven ground. At Galtres Park there's parking for 12,000 cars on site and the access is level and easy. Also, at Galtres Park the parking is free, so visitors arriving by car won't need to 'Park & Ride' to get to the heart of the action. For visitors wanting to make use of public transport, the Coastliner bus service drops off right outside the park and, in association with TransPennine Express, there will be a shuttle bus picking up and dropping off right outside Malton train station, so the train can take the strain if visitors want to avoid summer traffic on the A64.
We have a TV celebrity chef joining the event to give visitors the opportunity to see one of his famous cooking demos live inside the Galtres Park arena (a giant indoor events space at the centre of the park). The announcement revealing the identity of our headline chef will be part of a big media and PR launch soon.
Flavours Of Yorkshire will also feature the Grill & Smoke Festival, the North's biggest BBQ competition held in association with Yorkshire Baker/Cranswick.
Best of all, this event will be free to enter for all the family - making it the best value day out in Yorkshire!
