Good Food Conversations :Saltburn Vegan Day

by Foodfirst Saltburn (8 exhibitors, 1000 visitors)

About event

11 October 2025

Food First present another Good Food Conversations event again focussing on plant based life styles.

Find us at Saltburn Community Hall 10-3pm on Saturday 11 October with vegan foods, ethically produced gift stalls and a range of talks and presentations.

The day is aimed not only at people who have been following a plant-based diet for many years but also those who have perhaps been experimenting with veganism for the first time.

The Vegan Market will compliment talks and workshops and take place on the same day as the Towns famous Farmer’s Market, in February, we are expecting a busy footfall (Saltburn Farmer’s Market attracts an average of 6,000 visitors each month).

Entry to The Vegan Market will be £2 and well signposted from the main market which is less than 5 minutes walk away.  It will be promoted extensively via the main social pages (14,500 followers on Facebook alone) and across all vegan groups in the North-East.

All produce for sale MUST be vegan.  Ideally we are looking for North East sellers but we are happy to consider those from outside the region if you offer something a little different.  We do NOT have space for hot food sellers although we will be serving vegan hot chocolate and there may be an opportunity to take over the small residential style kitchen at the center and do a Vegan Pop Up Cafe.

This event follows on from our very successful plant based Good Food Conversation in February at which all our stall holders sold out.
