Saltburn Vegan Market
About event
Food First present Saltburn Vegan Market– Saltburn Farmers Market’s plant-based sister.
Find us at Saltburn Community Hall 10-3pm on Saturday 8 February with the best vegan food and ethically produced gift stalls in the North-East plus a range of talks and presentations.
The market is aimed not only at people who have been following a plant-based diet for many years but also those who have perhaps been experimenting with Veganuary for the first time.
The Vegan Market will take place on the same day as the Towns famous Farmer’s Market, in February, we are expecting a busy footfall (Saltburn Farmer’s Market attracts an average of 6,000 visitors each month).
Entry to The Vegan Market will be free and well signposted from the main market which is less than 5 minutes walk away. It will be promoted extensively via the main social pages (14,500 followers on Facebook alone) and across all vegan groups in the North-East.
All produce for sale MUST be vegan. Ideally we are looking for North East sellers but we are happy to consider those from outside the region if you offer something a little different. We do NOT have space for hot food sellers although we will be serving vegan hot chocolate from the venue’s kitchen, or there may be an opportunity to take over the small residential style kitchen at the center and do a Vegan Pop Up Cafe.
Although new, this festival is based on our success with Saltburn Farmers Market, Saltburn Cheese Festival and of course Saltburn Food Festival so we expect a good crowd.
