Details of products sold: My names Jonny and I own The Big Banh. We are a street food business based in the North East. We specialise in Vietnamese Banh Mi. We have created a menu using influences from all over the world whilst keeping the essence of this Vietnamese street food at the core of what we do! Some of our sandwiches include - SOY & STAR PORK - 9” roll with pickled carrot and daikon, cucumber, pate, mayo topped with slow braised pork belly glazed in a sticky and sweet soy and star anise jus, finished with herbaceous coriander and fresh chilli and sriracha for that perfect balance of flavour. - SLOPPY JOE - 9” roll with pickled carrot and daikon, cucumber, pate, mayo and topped with a slow cooked lemongrass and chilli beef ragu. There is art in keeping it inside the baguette! - PO BOY - 9” roll with pickled carrot and daikon, cucumber, Crispy Prawns and covered in our house Nam Jim Mayo. Our Take on the New Orleans classic! - THE BANH VE - 9” roll with pickled carrot and daikon, cucumber, mushroom pate, vegan mayo topped with slabs of crispy pan seared tofu slices marinated in soy, chilli and lemongrass! Sweet with a little heat! We also sell loaded hashbrowns!
